So after trying some other stuff, I switched to watching Netflix through Firefox on my remote machine, and now it works perfectly. My remote PC was viewing Netflix in Chrome, my local PC got a black screen in the browser (but strangely, I did get the subtitles). now you can access your friends computer. I had the issue too, but I solved it by switching browsers. If you want to control your friend’s computer, get your friend’s teamviewer ID and Password and put in Control Remote computer section and click the connect button. Then sudo apt-get install -fĪfter the installation of TeamViewer remote access tool, click the show applications in the Ubuntu Gnome dock and type teamviewer in the search box and click teamviewer to open it. You change this based on your teamviewer downloaded file name. You can change based on your downloaded location. Here Downloads is my default download folder. If you prefer installing teamviewer without GDebi package installed then run the below commands to install it.
It will install TeamViewer on your Ubuntu system. Type your Ubuntu user password if needed. deb file (Here its: teamviewer_b) and select open with other software and choose GDebi Package Installer. After that right click on the downloaded TeamViewer.
